Life Lessons From Paulo Coehlo’s “The Alchemist”

Throughout the book, Santiago learns from his friends and family members that the secret to happiness is to observe the marvels of the world. The secret to happiness lies in interpreting all omens and reading all the signs. Oftentimes, people will tell us that we must change in order to be happy, but Santiago is not concerned with those omens.

Secret of happiness is to see all the marvels of the world

The wise man once told a boy that the secret of happiness is to see the wonders of the world. The boy took the advice of the wise man, but he did not have time to explain the secret. Instead, he suggested the boy look around the palace and observe all the wonders that he could. While he was doing this, the boy was distracted by the oil that was on the spoon. He returned to the wise man's room, embarrassed that he had not observed anything. His only concern was not to spill any oil.

"The secret of happiness is to see the wonders of the world" is the message a young boy learns from various teachers on his quest to find a magical treasure. One of Santiago's first advisers is an old man who turns out to be King of Salem. He teaches Santiago the secret of happiness. He makes him pass a tricky test, which involves releasing the oil from a spoon. Afterwards, Santiago can experience the wonders of the world. Get more life lessons from us at griefescapes.com
