Manifesting Hope: Coaching Through Grief to Find Light
Grief is a challenging journey, and it’s often filled with deep sadness and confusion. During such times, it can be hard to see a path forward. One powerful tool that can support you through grief is manifestation. Manifestation is the practice of focusing on your goals and desires to bring them into your life. When combined with grief coaching, it can offer a way to find hope and build a future despite the pain. Let’s explore how you can bring light back into your life by manifesting positivity.
1. Understanding Manifestation in Grief
Manifestation involves visualizing positive outcomes and believing that you can achieve them. While it might sound like a far-fetched idea during grief, it can actually be a comforting practice. It helps shift focus from the weight of loss to creating a new, hopeful path forward.
2. Start with Self-Compassion
Before diving into manifestation, it’s essential to practice self-compassion. Grief is a personal and unique experience, and it’s okay to feel how you feel. Give yourself permission to experience your emotions fully. When my mom died, I remember times of sobbing and not getting out of bed. I was surrounded by guilt, but realized these feelings are natural and during this time I had to give myself some grace. This self-compassion creates a foundation for effective manifestation.
3. Set Small, Achievable Goals
Grief can make large goals seem overwhelming. Start with small, manageable goals that contribute to your healing process. These could be simple steps like “I will take a walk in nature each day” or “I will reach out to a friend for support.” During early months of grief, I was happy to be able to get dressed each day to work remotely. If you can only manage to do small goals this is okay. Manifest these small goals by visualizing them clearly and believing they can be part of your healing journey.
4. Create a Vision for the Future
Begin to envision a positive future beyond your grief. Think about what you want your life to look like once you’ve navigated through this difficult time. Do you want to develop new skills, connect with others, or pursue a hobby? Visualize these outcomes in detail and hold onto that vision as a source of inspiration.
5. Use Positive Affirmations
Affirmations are positive statements that help you focus on your desired outcomes. Create affirmations that resonate with your healing process, such as “I am open to finding joy again” or “I am strong and resilient.” Repeat these affirmations regularly to reinforce your vision and keep a positive mindset. I found this video recently that helped me manifest positivity while grieving.
6. Take Inspired Action
Manifestation isn’t just about thinking positively; it’s also about taking action. Look for small, meaningful actions you can take that align with your goals. These actions might include joining a support group, starting a new routine, or exploring a new interest. Each step you take toward your goals is a step toward healing.
7. Reflect and Adjust
Regularly reflect on your progress and how you’re feeling. Grief is a process, and your goals or visions might change over time. It’s okay to adjust your manifestation goals as you continue to heal. Stay flexible and kind to yourself throughout this journey.
8. Seek Support
Working with a manifestation coach who specializes in grief and manifestation can be incredibly beneficial. They can provide guidance, encouragement, and tools to help you navigate your grief while manifesting a hopeful future. Don’t hesitate to reach out for professional support if needed.
In Summary
Combining manifestation coaching with grief coaching offers a way to find light during a dark time. By setting small goals, visualizing a positive future, and taking inspired action, you can begin to heal and build a new path forward. Remember, it’s a journey, and it’s okay to take it one step at a time. Manifestation can be a powerful tool to help you find hope and create a meaningful life after loss.
